In all my rush I have completely forgotten to update my blog to share some exciting news.

This week I launched my new website ( Lakeland Portrait Photographer) and blog (Lakeland Portrait Photographer - blog) so I will no longer be sharing new posts in this blog. Such an exciting journey and I am so looking forward to see you all on my sites ... remember share a little love with your comments.

June celebrations

A few weekends ago my little nephew, Caleb, was celebrating his 2nd birthday ... and it just so happened to be the same weekend that I pick up my new camera and lenses - A perfect opportunity to check out my new gear :) The weather was perfect and the location was a child's dream (rock climbing mountain, water park galor and even a little water/sand contraption). Perfect! Although of course it had to be... you see, Caleb's mom is on her way to becoming a wedding event planner... so she knew what she was doing when she planned for the party :) ... That being said, anyone needing a fabulous wedding event planner give me a holla and I'll set you up with the Fabulous Cheri!!!

Jen, Cheri's sister was at the party as well and I was able to caputer a few photos of her family together. Thanks Jen for being such a sport :)

The day was awesome, but it was nice to sit in a house and cool down for a bit. The kids like it too .... I love seeing Maddi and Caleb interact together :)

Taryn & Jason's Baby Bump

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the cutest couple ever. With only a few more weeks before their due date, Taryn and Jason are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their precious little boy, Hayden.

We met up with another awesome photographer, Wendii, at Taryn and Jason's house and then the group of us drove to a beautiful rustic location just East of Edmonton. Taryn is also a local photographer ... talk about pressure, huh?!? (hehe.. just kidding). The weather was perfect (even with the wind) and Taryn & Jason are super photogenic so the afternoon went by so smoothly.
